At Parents Teachers Association, K V Minambakkam (PTAKVM) we believe in fostering a strong partnership between parents, teachers, and the community to enhance the educational experience for our children. Our association is dedicated to promoting collaboration, communication, and involvement within PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya Minambakkam and beyond.
PTAKVM was formed in the year 2019 as a registered association. The association has a strength of 18 Executive (committee) members (formed by Parents) which includes office bearers (President, General Secretary, Treasurer, Vice President, and Joint Secretaries), class representatives for all the classes from 1st standard to 12th standard and PTA Coordinator (Teaching staff deputed by school management)to act as bridge between PTA-School management. PTA has been successfully doing varied activities to benefit the school students, Parents and School management.

- Supporting Teachers: We work to provide resources, recognition, and support for the dedicated educators who inspire our children every day.
- Enhancing Educational Programs: Through fundraising and community events, we aim to enhance the educational programs and extracurricular activities available to our students.
- Building Community: We strive to create a welcoming environment where families feel connected and supported, fostering a sense of belonging within our school community.
- Host Events: From educational workshops to family fun nights, we organize various events to bring together parents, teachers, and students.
- Fundraising: We conduct fundraising activities to provide resources and support for school projects and programs.
- Advocacy: We advocate for the needs of our school community and work closely with school administration to address concerns and promote positive changes.
